Typexp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This policy explains what the app accesses and why.

Accessibility

Typexp requires Accessibility permission to monitor keyboard input and insert expanded text at the cursor position. This data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it. No keystrokes are logged or stored.

Snippets

Your snippets are stored locally on your Mac. If you enable iCloud sync, they are stored in your personal iCloud Drive account. Typexp has no access to your iCloud data beyond the app's own container.

Backups

Automatic weekly backups are saved locally to your Mac's Application Support folder. These files never leave your device.

Analytics & Tracking

Typexp contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Children's Privacy

Typexp does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
